Company history

From Calvert County roots to nationwide defense support.

Founded in 2003 in Calvert County, Maryland, Calvert Systems started with three employees supporting United States Navy contracts. By 2018, the company had grown, moved its headquarters to Bellevue, Nebraska, and transitioned ownership to two Calvert employees: John Cooper and Joe Spivey.

John and Joe are retired U.S. Air Force Colonels with more than 25 years of service across mission domains. Their RC-135 experience helped expand Calvert's Air Force contract portfolio, and Brian Humphrey later added further RC-135 pilot, contractor flight operations, and management depth as Executive Vice President.
